genU is seeking a Property Care Manager to join our Social Enterprises division in Western Australia. This division delivers high-quality, commercially sustainable goods and services while providing meaningful employment opportunities for NDIS participants with employment-related goals and the broader supported workforce.
In this position you will lead and coordinate teams across multiple sites to ensure operational excellence, financial sustainability, and the delivery of high-quality services aligned with genU’s Social Enterprise strategy.

What you’ll do
1. Direct and oversee the day-to-day operations of genU Grounds Maintenance, Landcare and Nursery teams across Western Australia ensuring efficient and effective service delivery;
2. Proactively identify, engage and drive new business opportunities;
3. Develop comprehensive production and work schedules;
4. Implement and enforce genU OH&S policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment for all employee;.
5. Manage fleet, assets, maintenance and utilisation of all vehicles, machinery, and equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards;
6. Assist in the development of annual budgets and pricing reviews, working closely with the Social Enterprise Manager.
What you’ll bring
7. Proven experience in Managing large scale teams across multiple sites;
8. A background in landscape and horticulture is essential; and experience with property maintenance highly desirable;
9. Demonstrated experience managing operational teams within public gardens and landscaping or a similar commercial environment.
10. Understanding of Quality Assurance systems and OH&S regulations;
11. Competent computer skills (Word, excel, outlook and company databases and applications);
(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
