Job Opportunity: Senior HR Business Partner
We are collaborating with a nationwide charitable organisation that is currently undergoing a period of change. They are seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join their team.
The BP team takes a strategic lead on people management and organisational development to ensure the organisation has the right Culture, Capacity, and Capability to achieve its purpose.
The Senior HR Business Partner will manage a team of 2 HR BPs and will be responsible for developing and delivering the HR strategy to foster strong relationships and effective people management solutions.
The ideal candidate will have experience within a regulated or unionised environment and be a proven strategic HR BP. This role is home-based with occasional nationwide travel, and candidates should be based in the East or West Midlands.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the development and implementation of the People strategy.
2. Manage performance, absence, staff wellbeing, and learning & development for up to two HR Business Partners.
3. Foster collaboration across teams and departments.
4. Support the Head of HR Business Partnering and lead specific HR projects aligned with the People strategy.
5. Lead organisational change projects.
6. Manage union negotiations and relationships.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience as an HR Business Partner, particularly in organisational change within a charitable or care environment. They will have managed complex employee relations issues, including restructures, TUPE transfers, and change management programs. Experience in managing a team is essential.
The candidate should be a strong team player with an approachable and influential style, capable of driving success within a high-standard HR function. CIPD qualification is required. Immediate or quick availability is necessary.
