Job Description
As a Quality Coordinator you will be working alongside the Quality & Systems Manager in leading the quality & continuous improvement functions of the business, assuring the quality of our systems and products. This is to ensure that customer and business requirements are met in line with the Quality Management System. The working hours will be Monday - Friday 8am-5pm with a 1 hour unpaid lunch-break.
About You
* Self-motivated, reliable, thorough, logical, conscientious.
* Display effective communication, listening, influencing and persuading at all levels will be essential with a good understanding of people management & interaction with other departments.
* Proficient at using Microsoft packages, predominantly Excel & Word.
* Knowledge & understanding of manufacturing operations and quality requirements of both the business and the customer.
* Experience preferred in ISO9001 and/or BRCGS.
Key Responsibilities
* Deputy to the Quality Assurance Manager.
* Maintain & monitor the NCR database to ensure root cause analysis are completed in a timely manner.
* Conducting & completing internal audits.
* Preparation for external audits ISO9001, BRCGS and customers.
* Monitoring of held for inspection stock, updating warehouse management database accordingly.
* Maintaining the QMS, drafting & updating documents as required.
* Inspection of positive release pallets as requested.
* Preparation & despatch of sample bottles as required.
* Ensure calibration of site measuring & testing equipment in a timely manner, maintaining the calibration register & storage of calibration certificates.
* Maintaining the compliance calendar.
* Maintaining QPL register & promoting awareness of new QPL's
* Carry out other duties at the discretion of the Quality Assurance Manager.
Salary
£26,000 - £28,000 per annum depending on experience.
About Our Facility
Our Plenmeller site is a state-of-the-art plastic bottle factory using advanced blow moulding technology. We use equipment from the best manufacturers to ensure top-quality production. We also specialise in decorating plastic bottles through printing and labelling, providing customised solutions for our clients.
