About the Role
Whytematter are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Compliance and Financial Analyst to join our clients dynamic team. This unique role will combine your financial expertise with a strong understanding of compliance. You will be responsible for ensuring our client adheres to financial processes while providing insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Analyse financial data to identify risks and trends.
Assist in the development and execution of compliance programs.
Prepare detailed reports on compliance activities and financial performance.
Compare and verify financial estimates with as-built drawings, purchase orders, and invoices.
Conduct thorough reviews of final accounts.
Liaise with vendors to resolve financial queries.
Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to support project delivery.
Person Specification
Essential Qualifications & Skills
A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in financial analysis or compliance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Proficiency with Google Workspace (preferred).
