Test Analyst (Contract — Time & Attendance / Kronos / UKG) Duration: 6 months (ASAP – end of October) Location: Hybrid — 1–2 days/week onsite (Solihull / Birmingham), remainder remote Contract Type: Day rate (Inside IR35) Overview We are seeking an experienced Test Analyst to support an HR transformation programme, specifically focused on the Time & Attendance module within UKG (formerly Kronos). This role will be responsible for executing end-to-end testing activities, ensuring system quality, and supporting release readiness within an Agile delivery environment. Key Responsibilities Create, review, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for the Time & Attendance module Perform functional, regression, and system integration testing (SIT) Log, triage, and track defects, working closely with developers and configuration teams through to resolution Validate fixes and perform re-testing cycles Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint reviews, etc.) Provide clear test status reporting, including risks and issues Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate with business stakeholders where required Ensure overall test coverage and quality assurance across the module Required Skills & Experience Proven experience as a Test Analyst within HR / Workforce Management systems Hands-on experience with Kronos / UKG Time & Attendance solutions (e.g. Workforce Central or Dimensions) Strong functional testing and defect management experience Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g. JIRA, Azure DevOps, TestRail) Good understanding of system integration testing Basic SQL / data validation skills Experience working in Agile delivery environments Strong communication skills, with the ability to present findings to stakeholders Desirable Experience Prior experience with UKG Workforce Central or Dimensions Understanding of HR / Payroll processes, particularly Time & Attendance rules Experience supporting large-scale HRIS or workforce system implementations Qualifications ISTQB (or equivalent) certification — desirable, not essential Relevant experience within HR / Payroll systems environments
