We are lookingfor The role will be responsible for leading motivating anddeveloping the team to support the delivery and profitability ofour projects in line with contractual legal regulatory and businessrequirements with particular emphasis on large and/or complexopportunities across theDepartment.
You will be developing theteam into a centre of excellence and ensuring that there is a keyfocus on quality ontime delivery of the work commitments andadherence to safety standards.
As aHead of Build PIA Infill your core responsibilities will besupporting the Director and other functions where appropriate toimprove processes develop though leadership for achievingcommercial success in all areas and enhance employee engagement.This will also require you to manage ad hoc projects and requestsfrom time to time and act as deputy for the Director on inlifecontract management queries.
Some of the key responsibilities willbe
* To manage andtake ownership for all major projects & frameworks whichare either new or inlife. Providing highquality operational and commercial leadership delivering revenueand profit whilst maintaining strong clientrelationships
* Overseeingall activities and resource to ensure that design procurementfinancial control and site activities are managed to the higheststandards in all areas of the projectdelivery
* Workingwith the client to enable the most efficient and costeffectiveapproach in delivering an outstanding program of works andproject
* Continuouslyreviewing and agreeing work commitments with both the Client andthe project team to ensure progress is in line with agreed volumecommitments and timeframes and any approved contractualobligations
* Escalatingany variations or major changes to the project including anycommercial impact to project delivery wherenecessary
* Todevelop implement and oversee systems processes and procedures tomanage risks and contractual obligations achieving optimum valuefrom the contracts and ensuring there is full awareness for allrespective teams involved in the programs /projects
* Developmentof strong team working relationships being hands on and a point ofescalation to ensure the effective management and administration ofprograms and orprojects
* Prepare guidance forrelevant stakeholders associated with the contract and regularlyreview performance against the project both internally with theteam and with the Client whilst driving cost baseimprovements
* Workingclosely with all internal departments to ensure compliance aroundsafety and quality resource planning and financialmanagement.
* Prepareand present Client KPI reviews consistency in delivery iskey.

* Previous telecomsIndustry
* Atleast 5 years experience of managing projects developing successfulprofitable solutions and managing opportunities and risks throughthe full lifecycle preferably including exitmanagement
* Highcommercial acumen and contract terminologyknowledge
* Proven leadership skillswith the ability to lead by example set high standards translatestrategies into action and deliver against challenging objectivesacross complexenvironments
* Proven contract managementtrack record with ability to improve businessperformance
* Bestinclass negotiationrelationship management and influencing skills at a seniorlevel
* Experienceof Managing P&L and the impact of decisions onbudgets/forecasts
* Must be able to assimilateunderstand and resolve complex technical strategic and businessissues
* Highlevel of experience in Resource and ForecastingManagement
