An engaging Hounslow primary is recruiting an enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to start Full-Time in January 2026. The successful Year 3 Teacher will take part in planning before January 2026, attend induction in January 2026, and teach from January 2026 as the Year 3 Teacher. Year 3 Teacher Responsibilities The Year 3 Teacher will deliver high-quality English and mathematics as the Year 3 Teacher, lead enquiry topics and coordinate small-group interventions as the Year 3 Teacher. The Year 3 Teacher will track assessment, moderate with colleagues and communicate progress to families. The Year 3 Teacher will prepare resources before January 2026 and will be in post teaching from January 2026. Year 3 Teacher Requirements We are seeking a Year 3 Teacher with QTS, confident KS2 practice and excellent behaviour strategies. The Year 3 Teacher must be available for pre-term planning prior to January 2026, induction in January 2026 and to start teaching from January 2026. Curriculum and staff development The Year 3 Teacher will take part in whole-school assessment cycles, contribute to curriculum planning and support the school’s approach to feedback. The Year 3 Teacher will be involved in data review meetings and will use assessment to close gaps following the January 2026 return to school. The school offers a structured CPD programme and the Year 3 Teacher will receive mentor time and observed lesson feedback to support rapid development.
