Role Overview
Strathisla Brand Home Supervisor - responsible for growing the Brand Home business, ensuring financial profitability and operational excellence, and delivering premium whisky experiences.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage Brand Home staff, including recruitment, training, staffing schedules, time‑sheet management and payroll liaison.
* Communicate and report weekly to the Scotland‑based Prestige Hospitality Manager.
* Design and deliver high‑end guest experiences, collaborate with marketing teams to keep scripts and visual content current, and manage the online booking system.
* Coordinate trade, senior‑management, VIP, and HNWI visits, including the Vault and associated activities.
* Develop and monitor financial KPIs, optimise revenue through promotional plans, product launches, trade partnerships and social media, and control costs by analysing P&Ls and inventory.
* Maintain visitor data, manage cash float, ensure proper stock levels and balance tills, and hold a personal license to comply with premises‑handing regulations.
* Administer Health and Safety records, food‑hygiene training and other compliance requirements.
Qualifications and Skills
* Entrepreneurial mindset and experience managing projects.
* Pro‑active and adaptable to changing circumstances at short notice.
* Background in retail, with product purchase, control and merchandising experience.
* Business acumen, planning and organisational skills, and understanding of KPIs and budgeting.
* Marketing and digital proficiency, including social‑network usage and content creation.
* Strong communication skills at all organisational levels.
* Good knowledge of brand strategy and premium whisky heritage.
* People‑management capability, including recruitment and staff development.
* Willingness to work unsocial hours, weekends and holidays.
* PC literate with excellent office‑administrative skills.
* Full driving licence.
