You will play a meaningful role in supporting this mission. You will work within the Economic Development team, helping communicate and promote the Council’s work on supporting priority sectors, inclusive economic growth, investments and strategic projects.
A key part of your role will also involve supporting Network Eagle Lab, a collaborative coworking and business support hub. You’ll help promote programmes, events, and opportunities for startups and scaleups within this vibrant ecosystem.
About You
We are looking for someone enthusiastic, motivated, and curious about how cities grow and how local government supports businesses and communities.
You Will Need To Demonstrate
* An interest in marketing, business, or economic development
* Strong communication skills
* Confidence using digital tools
* Good organisational and time‑management skills
* Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships
* Initiative, creativity, and willingness to contribute ideas
* Basic understanding of equality and diversity
Previous experience with social media or marketing is helpful but not essential.

Salary
The salary band for this role is £24,795 – £25,185. The starting salary is £24,795 with annual progression through the salary bands.
