We’re expanding fast and we’re looking for a confident and motivated Lettings Negotiator to join our Manchester team at 361 Deansgate.
The Role
As a Lettings Negotiator, you’ll be the first point of contact for potential tenants, managing enquiries, conducting viewings, and securing lets across our Manchester portfolio.
A significant proportion of our customer base consists of international students and overseas applicants, therefore strong communication skills and cultural awareness are essential within this role.
You’ll play a key role in maximising occupancy, driving rental income, and representing Nexis with professionalism and energy. It’s a fast-paced, customer-focused role that suits someone with a passion for property and a drive to deliver results.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond quickly and professionally to lettings enquiries via phone, email, and property portals
* Arrange and conduct viewings, showcasing properties and building rapport with tenants
* Negotiate offers between applicants and landlords to secure favourable outcomes
* Work closely with the Tenancy Progression team to ensure all compliance steps are completed
* Keep all listings, pricing, and availability updated across systems and marketing channels
* Support the Head of Lettings in achieving monthly and quarterly targets
* Maintain clear communication with landlords and tenants throughout the lettings process
* Contribute to marketing initiatives, photography, and social media campaigns
* Provide feedback to landlords on market trends and rental performance
* Support and communicate with international students and overseas clients throughout their rental journey
What We’re Looking For
* Fluent in Mandarin, both written and spoken, due to the volume of international student enquiries
* Cantonese speaking would be highly desirable but not essential
* Experience in lettings, property, or sales (estate agency experience preferred)
* Confident communicator with strong negotiation and customer service skills
* Organised, proactive, and driven to meet and exceed targets
* Comfortable using CRM systems and digital tools
* A team player who thrives in a busy, fast-moving environment
