We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join a fast-growing beauty brand located in the vibrant West End. This role will primarily focus on managing the day-to-day Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable activities, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and promptly. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is motivated to enhance the efficiency and precision of their finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process and manage all Accounts Receivable activities, including invoicing, payment allocation, and debt chasing.
* Handle Accounts Payable tasks such as processing supplier invoices, expense claims, and payment runs.
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in the accounting system.
* Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
* Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers/customers to resolve queries.
* Support the Finance team with ad hoc administrative and reporting tasks as required.
Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable within a busy finance environment.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills with great attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Experience with NetSuite is preferred.
* Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
* Ability to work independently, managing priorities and deadlines effectively.
