Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality, inclusive lessons in GCSE and Functional Skills Maths across a range of learner levels.
* Create and adapt teaching materials, lesson plans, and assessments that meet curriculum and learner needs.
* Track and support student progress, attendance, and achievement, ensuring a positive learning environment.
* Provide effective, constructive feedback to help learners grow in confidence and competence.
* Contribute to curriculum planning, quality improvement initiatives, and team collaboration.
What We're Looking For
* Demonstrable experience in teaching Maths, with strong subject knowledge and a learner-focused approach.
* Previous experience in a teaching or lecturing role, ideally within a college or further education setting.
* Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) qualifications in Maths and English.
* A recognised teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one.
* A current DBS registered on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
