There's a difference between a job that processes numbers and one that teaches you how a business really works. This is the latter. As a Finance Analyst supporting distribution operations across Nuneaton and Burton, you'll sit close enough to the action to understand what's driving costs, what's dragging on performance, and what nobody else has thought to look at yet. You'll have real access to people who make decisions, and the autonomy to tell them things they need to hear.
If you're part-qualified or studying an A&F qualification and want to move fast - technically, commercially, and professionally - this is a good place to do it.
What you'll be doing
* Owning weekly and monthly reporting packs, KPI dashboards and variance commentary that operational leaders actually read and act on
* Getting into the numbers behind logistics, labour, facilities and third-party costs to find what's really going on
* Running month-end - journals, accruals, balance sheet recs, P&L review properly, not just ticking boxes
* Supporting budgets, forecasts and scenario modelling alongside Finance Business Partners
* Working directly with operational teams to help them understand their numbers and make sharper decisions
* Actively looking for ways to automate or improve how reporting gets done

The Person
What you'll need
* Some grounding in finance or management accounting - you don't need to have done everything, but you need to know your way around a P&L and month-end
* Excel that goes beyond the basics - pivot tables, lookups, modelling
* You know how to talk to people who don't live in debits and credits - and make them care about the right financial story.
* You'll be partqualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or studying toward a finance qualification
