An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Partner Manager to join our dynamic and fast paced GMS Partner Management team.
The Partner Manager is responsible for assessing and qualifying Computacenter Group opportunities and driving effective in‑life management of our vendor ecosystem within the Managed Services business. This includes overseeing commercial performance, contractual compliance, and operational delivery with our vendor partners to ensure they provide the capabilities and outcomes required to support our services and customer commitments.
What you'll do
Relationship Management 40%:
* Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with key vendors, negotiating pricing, promoting adherence to service expectations, governance frameworks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Serve as the primary business-as-usual point of contact for vendor queries and escalations, ensuring issues are managed through appropriate internal channels.
* Support operational teams by responding to vendor‑related questions across commercial, service, and delivery domains.
* Prepare for, lead, or support regular vendor review meetings, ensuring performance insights, actions, and improvements are tracked and executed.
Opportunity Management 40%:
* Act as a point of engagement for new bids, providing initial qualification and support.
* Collaborate with CSD teams to support in the pre-sales stage of bids, into transition and run. Working with the Senior/Principal Partner Managers or Group Managers where required to provide partner pricing to support the opportunity.
* Utilisation of Partner rate cards or direct engagement with partners to obtain customer specific quotes based on the defined service requirements.
* Negotiate discounts for Computacenter to maximise Computacenter's profit margin.
* Proactively raise any deal risks to the Group Manager or Senior/Principal Partner Manager.
* Provide general support and guidance on Partner Coverage and Capability.
Transition and Change Management 10%:
* Support service transitions that require vendor‑delivered components, ensuring smooth onboarding of new vendors and delivery readiness for new or expanded services.
* Manage the vendor onboarding process, including contractual setup, governance alignment, and operational readiness for domestic and international engagements.
* Develop Statements of Work (SoWs), Amendments, and customer‑specific contractual documents using approved templates and liaising with Legal where necessary.
* Ensure accurate management of in‑life contract changes, approvals, and documentation updates.
Document Management, Governance and Compliance 10%:
* Maintain accurate vendor information, internal trackers, templates, and process documents to ensure relevance and alignment with corporate governance standards.
* Create standard contractual documents for new vendors and coordinate with internal teams to complete system setup and due‑diligence checks.
* Monitor vendor adherence to compliance requirements, including Supplier Codes of Conduct, regulatory obligations, and contractual commitments.
* Oversee vendor contract lifecycle management, ensuring alignment with business needs, commercial frameworks, and compliance expectations.
