Discover International is partnered with a quickly growing UK-based consultancy in their search for a Head of Toxicology.
This role will provide strategic scientific leadership across nonclinical safety and toxicology programmes, while also supporting client relationships, team development, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the toxicology team and provide scientific oversight across client projects
* Advise on nonclinical safety strategy from discovery through development
* Review study designs, data interpretation, risk assessments, and reports
* Act as senior client contact for toxicology and safety matters
* Support regulatory submissions and interactions
* Mentor and develop team members
* Contribute to business development and growth of the toxicology offering
Requirements
* PhD in Toxicology, Pharmacology, or related discipline
* DABT / ERT qualification preferred
* Extensive experience in nonclinical toxicology and drug development
* Previous leadership or senior consultancy experience
* Strong client-facing and commercial skills
* Excellent knowledge of regulatory requirements
