We are seeking to appoint a highly organised and efficient Post 16 Student Support Officer to provide support to the students and sixth form team. The successful candidate will possess excellent organisational, communication and administrative skills, an ability to work independently, be able to prioritise their workload effectively and enjoy working with young people. The responsibilities will include the management of private study facilities for our Post 16 students, promoting excellent attendance and punctuality in the Sixth Form. We are looking for someone who can remain calm and professional under pressure and work pro-actively with staff, students and parents to assist the sixth form team in ensuring all students make good progress academically, socially and behaviourally. Previous experience of working in a school would be an advantage but it is not essential as training and support will be provided. This position is for 37 hours per week, term time only.
