About the Role

Are you a passionate and innovative Art educator with a strong track record of inspiring creativity and achievement in young people? We are seeking a dynamic Course Leader - Art to lead and shape our BTEC and A Level Art provision.

As the Course Leader for Art, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, delivery, and assessment of both BTEC Level 3 Art and Design and A Level Art courses. You will work with a team of dedicated teachers, ensure outstanding teaching and learning, and foster a stimulating creative environment that encourages student engagement and progression.

What You Will Do

Lead curriculum development and delivery for BTEC and A Level Art

Inspire and support students to achieve their highest potential

Monitor and track student progress to ensure positive outcomes

Manage coursework and assessment in line with awarding body requirements

Collaborate with colleagues to promote cross-disciplinary creativity and enrichment

Contribute to whole-school improvement initiatives as a member of the wider leadership team

About You

A degree in Art, Fine Art, or related discipline

Experience teaching BTEC and/or A Level Art, with evidence of strong student outcomes

Proven ability to lead or coordinate a course (desirable)

Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills

A passion for creative education and a commitment to inclusive teaching
