Our Management Services team is looking for a skilled Supply Chain Manager with a Defence Industry background. This new vacancy provides the opportunity to join an agile growing team. You’ll work across a variety of consulting projects and exercise your Supply Chain expertise providing expertise to clients in a fast-paced environment.

What are we looking for?
We’re looking for a Supply Chain Manager with defence industry experience and a strong focus on excellent client delivery. You will need a strong technical Supply Chain Management background, an unwavering client focus, enthusiasm, and an ambitious and collaborative mindset to join us.

Experience, qualifications and skills required
· Extensive experience in a Procurement and Supply Chain management / specialist roles
· Demonstrable background in defence or other highly regulated industries
· Consulting expertise would be beneficial
· Knowledge of public procurement would be advantageous
· Extensive experience in procurement and supply chain, from sourcing to contract placement
· Experience leading high performing teams
· Experience of working with a full, end to end supply chain
· Experience of Digital Supply Chain transformation desirable
· Experience of Supply Chain operations improvement desirable
· Experience of utilising data-led analytical approaches to deliver optimal customer solutions is desirable
· Exceptional stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills
· Previous experience with contracts, such as Commercial or Contract Management role, or negotiating and placing contracts with suppliers
· MCIPS, or similar professional qualification is highly desirable
· Experience of bidding and proposals would be advantageous
· Current right to live and work in the UK
· Current SC clearance or willing and eligible to undergo a Security Clearance check*
· Happy to travel
The Role
Our Management Services team are a testament to our commitment to optimising processes, harmonising teams, and orchestrating timely, on-budget program and project deliveries.
As part of this expert team, your day-to-day role will include “front of house” consulting, interfacing with clients across a wide variety of key projects to deliver supply Chain services, including:
· Working with clients to lead the delivery of procurement and supply chain objectives
· Collaborating with and effective management of relationships with all procurement stakeholders
· Leading and supporting supply chain teams
· Ensuring compliance with policy, procedures and reporting Ensuring supply chain activities are carried out in accordance with the project execution plan, schedule and/or contracting strategy, within approved budgets and in line with project processes and procedures
