We're The Hideout, an independently owned and operated restaurant in Scarborough, run by Chris Marson and Amy Carter-Eade, with one clear ambition… to give this town the best in comfort food and service.
We're now looking for a Sous Chef to work alongside and report directly into our Head Chef, Ben. This is a hands-on role, where you'll be Ben's right-hand person, helping to run a busy kitchen, maintain high standards, and keep things moving smoothly.

What we need from you
* Reliability, consistency, and pride in your work
* Strong stock control, hygiene standards, efficiency, and quality focus
* Ability to lead the kitchen in Ben's absence and train junior staff
* At least 2–3 years' experience in a busy kitchen (Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie level)
* Calm under pressure with great communication skills
* Open to new ideas and innovation
