Head of IT
£60,000 - £90,000 package. Portsmouth/office-based role.

This is a multi-faceted role where you will work collaboratively to support the business growth through solving day-to-day problems blended with external projects and medium-long-term strategy. Responsibilities(not exhaustive)
* Owning the Groups’ infrastructure architecture.
* IT security.
* Server management (inc data and storage).
* Project lead on CRM rebuild. Part of this role is to learn the code/system throughout the rebuild so that we retain that knowledge in-house.
* Helpdesk (hands-on).
* Website and app management. Including an impending brand refresh project.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and support system enhancements.
* Systems integration.
* Supplier management.
* Strategy. Optimizing service, costs etc.
* Plan and prioritise in line with Group strategy and stakeholder requirements.
* IT project management.
* Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the CRM and across the group.
* Reviewing business requirements to understand the business needs.
The successful candidate with have demonstrable experience to meet the above requirements and will come from a Developer background (with current expertise). To Include:
· At least 5 years of commercial experience using PHP (OOP).
· Strong understanding of microservice architecture and design patterns.
· Solid knowledge of Laravel (or other PHP frameworks).
· Working knowledge of Continuous integration and continuous delivery/deployment (CI/CD).
