Job description
Wealth Generation LLP is seeking a Graduate/Trainee Financial Planner.
The successful applicant will initially assist the Founding Partner and Adviser in the business by carrying out a variety of duties. The candidate will also be assisted in their own development through the funding of professional qualifications and mentoring. There is a clear path for the candidate to progress within the firm.
To be considered for the position you must have:
* A strong academic background, preferably studied at University
* Can demonstrate high levels of Attention to Detail
* Willing to work within a small team and undertake a variety of tasks
Responsibilities:
* Provide high quality support to the Founding Partner and Adviser
* Assist with report writing and annual client reviews
* Investment learning and research
* Contribute to social media content
* Acting as a first point of contact, dealing with correspondence and phone calls
* Greeting clients and ensuring they feel welcome when they arrive
* Inputting and updating the client's information and policies on the back office system (Intelliflo) so that it is always accurate and reflects any work that has been carried out
* Chasing on new business cases and general queries that come up
* Helping with monthly Income reconciliation through our back office system
* Studying for professional Financial Planner qualification
Skills:
* Highly professional and displays a strong work ethic
* Willing to go the extra mile when it is required
* Used to working collaboratively within a small team
* Proactive and able to work independently at times
* Proficient in the main Microsoft Programs like Outlook, Word and Excel
* Strong communication skills both verbally and written
* Creative and enjoys finding solutions for problems they encounter
* Up to date with current affairs (financial, economic and political)
Desirable but not essential
* Have previous work experience within the Financial Services industry and/or gained Financial Services qualifications.

* Salary initially ranging between £25,000.00 and £30,000.00 per annum depending on the candidate and level of experience
