Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Coffee Shop Assistant to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while ensuring that our coffee shop runs smoothly. You will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, maintaining food safety standards, and providing excellent hospitality to all patrons. Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and other specialty drinks.
* Assist in food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety guidelines.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee shop, including the dining area and kitchen.
* Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their needs.
* Assist with catering orders as required, ensuring timely delivery and presentation.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation during busy periods.
* Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
Skills
* Previous experience in a café or restaurant environment is advantageous.
* Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
* Strong communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience in catering or bartending is a plus.
* A passion for hospitality and delivering excellent customer service.

Pay: £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 18 per week
