The Opportunity
We are delighted to offer an excellent opportunity for a Paraplanner to join our team in Birmingham. In this role, you will bring a strong understanding of core financial planning solutions and continue to develop your expertise through exposure to a wide range of client planning scenarios. You will analyse clients' goals and requirements to help construct high-quality financial planning solutions that Advisors can confidently present.
From mid-September, employees and contractors will be expected to work primarily from the office, with flexibility to work hybrid.
What Will You Do?
1. Provide high-quality support for Financial Advisers and Financial Planners
2. Facilitate the smooth processing of new and existing business
3. Liaise effectively with administrative support teams
4. Assist in monitoring the performance and workflow of administrative support to ensure standards and deadlines are consistently met
5. Understand and comply with all relevant regulations, principles, policies and procedures
6. Adhere to conduct risk standards
7. Apply a broad understanding of financial planning solutions while developing further expertise through real client scenarios
8. Analyse clients' aims and needs to help construct robust financial planning solutions for Advisor use
9. Produce detailed, accurate financial plans and analytical information under the guidance of senior team members
What Do You Need to Succeed?
Must-Have
10. CII level 4 diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent)
11. Strong accuracy, numeracy and attention to detail
12. Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
13. Ability to work to deadlines and manage time effectively
