This is a full time position, 40 hours per week, 5 days over 7 on a rota basis to include weekends, evenings and bank holidays. Main Purpose:
1. Interact with customers in a professional, friendly and confident manner.
2. Develop relationships with regular guests to maximise sales opportunities and generate future business.
3. Develop a close working relationship with all departments, colleagues and managers promoting teamwork within the department and the hotel.
4. Ensure all guest expectations are exceeded.
5. Ensure the safety of all guests and staff within the hotel.
6. Consistently deliver exceptional standards of service which exceed customer expectations, using standards and order of service documents. Know all Brownsword Hotels concepts and ensure that this is shared to the guest.
7. Understand the importance of attention to detail.
8. Work to the standard operational procedures at all times.
9. All customer feedback positive and negative is communicated to the manager.
10. Attend training as requested, implement techniques and communicate the knowledge gained to the department.
11. Ensure all mis en place as per checklists is carried out prior to service. Consistently upsell the hotel during all guest interactions where appropriate and provide as much information as possible in order to exceed profits of the hotel.
12. Anticipate customer needs and drive sales through knowledge of all food and wine and promotional offerings.
13. Ensure that all revenues billed are accurate.
14. Follow cash handling procedures and ensure all discrepancies are reported to your Manager.
15. Ensure all stock within your charge is secure.

21. Communicate all issues relating to guests directly to your Manager
