Overview
The Marketing Intelligence team is part of the Marketing, Recruitment and International Directorate. The Market Data Analyst post-holder analyses data and produces data visualisation that enables a wide number of teams within the Directorate and across the University to make financially and strategically sound decisions, particularly in relation to student recruitment and internationalisation.
Responsibilities
* Be a competent and confident user of PowerBI, responsible for the development and maintenance of a fairly large number of Power BI reports accessed by a wide range of stakeholders across the University.
* Order and analyse a number of large datasets for the team, making use of it for manageable analysis and reference.
* Provide a key link between the MRI Directorate and the University’s Performance, Planning and Insights team, ensuring best practice is shared and supporting the alignment of priorities.
* Contribute to the Marketing Intelligence team’s ability to provide evidence-based insight to inform Swansea's marketing and student recruitment activity, ensuring it is impactful and cost-effective.
