Role: Locum Consultant Radiologist with an interest in Breast Imaging
Shifts: Monday to Friday, full or part time considered. ASAP for 5.5 months. 08.30-17.30 Breast Imaging Consultant - Suspected cancer Diagnostic provision specifically breast triple assessment clinics

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a dedicated, skilled, and knowledgeable Locum Radiology Consultant to join a prestigious NHS trust.
Working flexibly, you will be acting as an expert consultant to the referring physician, analysing images to help diagnose, monitor, and treat various conditions, diseases, and injuries.
Working alongside a friendly, multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, you will be using advanced imaging technology, including CT, MRI, PET, and fusion imaging.
As a Radiology team specialist, you will have access to development and support packages to enhance your knowledge or explore new intervention techniques.
In addition to your qualifications as a Radiology Consultant, you will have:

Main Duties/Responsibilities
As a Radiologist, you will:
* Use images to diagnose, treat, and manage medical conditions and diseases.
* Provide expertise and guidance to other healthcare professionals.
* Collaborate with medical and non-medical staff to ensure quality treatment.
* Select appropriate radiology techniques for diagnosis and perform minimally invasive procedures.
* Support patients and families, explaining findings clearly.
* Engage in shared decision-making with patients.
* Lead or work within multidisciplinary teams.
* Assess and prioritize patient needs, delegating tasks appropriately.
* Monitor and report on patient conditions and changes.
* Perform administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications/Licenses/Certifications
* GMC registered Doctor (not necessarily on the Specialist Register).
* Relevant experience at Consultant level or supporting references.
* Evidence of Right to Work in the UK (no visa sponsorship for locum roles).
* Pass an enhanced DBS check.
