Are you customer focused, a committed team player, able to work accurately under pressure and have a flexible approach towards work? If so, West Northamptonshire Council Registration Service wants to hear from you.
The Registration Service has the statutory duty to register all life events that happened in the West Northants area (births and deaths) and to conduct and register all civil marriages and civil partnerships that occur. It also offers many other services such as citizenship ceremonies, copy certificate production, and celebratory ceremonies such as naming or renewal of vows. The service operates from three different locations within West Northamptonshire – Northampton Central Library, Towcester Forum, The Abbey in Daventry – and conducts ceremonies at over 40 approved venues.
The service now seeks one part‑time registrar of births and deaths/deputy superintendent registrar in Daventry, and one casual registrar across all three offices. The part‑time position will be based at our Daventry Abbey Centre office; the casual position will need to work across all three offices. Please specify which position you would like to apply for in your additional statement.
