About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Artisan Tradesperson with experience in tiling, stone masonry, or bricklaying to join our specialist fabrication team in Kidderminster.
This is a unique opportunity to apply traditional trade skills within an industrial engineering environment, specialising in the application of wear-resistant solutions to fabricated metal components.
The role offers varied and interesting work, combining workshop-based projects with customer site installations across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
* Apply wear-resistant materials to fabricated metal products
* Install tiles, refractory materials, stone, or similar lining systems with precision
* Prepare surfaces and ensure correct bonding and durability standards are achieved
* Work from engineering drawings and job specifications
* Support fabrication and production teams when required
* Carry out on-site installations and repairs at customer locations
* Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and performance standards
* Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean working environment
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience in one or more of the following trades: Tiling, Stone masonry, Bricklaying
* High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
* Ability to adapt traditional trade skills to industrial and fabrication environments
* Experience using adhesives, mortars, or specialist lining products (preferred but not essential)
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Strong practical problem‑solving skills
Additional Requirements
* Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
* Willingness to travel and work on customer sites when required
* Flexible approach to working hours, including overtime
* Good understanding of health and safety within workshop and site environments
* Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team
