Live Out Full-Time Housekeeper Job in Surrey
We have a wonderful opportunity for a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join a professional team within a beautiful private estate near Engelfield Green. This is a fantastic role for a Housekeeper who takes pride in maintaining exceptionally high standards of cleanliness and presentation in a well-run and structured household environment.
The successful candidate will work as part of an established housekeeping team, ensuring all areas of the estate are beautifully maintained while supporting the wider team when required. This role offers a collaborative and professional working environment and would suit someone with a proactive, flexible, and positive approach. The client would also consider candidate with a hotel background.
Duties:
Cleaning, laundry, and ironing
Servicing rooms to a high standard
Silver polishing and brass cleaning
Vacuuming and general housekeeping duties
Maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the property
Ensuring all rooms are prepared and maintained to a high standard
Reporting any maintenance issues or defects to the Estate Managers
Working collaboratively with the housekeeping team across all areas of the property
Supporting additional ad hoc duties as required
The ideal candidate will have previous housekeeping experience, preferably within a private household or similar environment. The client would also consider candidate with a hotel background. They will be highly organised, discreet, and professional, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A flexible and adaptable approach is essential, particularly when the family are in residence.
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday ideally 8:30 - 4:30 pm of 7:30am - 3:30pm
Flexibility required when the family are in residence, with hours worked across 7 days as needed
Salary: £33,000 per annum plus overtime when the family are in residence
