Day in the Life
G-TEM is an award-winning innovative company supplying parts for the automotive industry, we have full inhouse tool manufacturing capabilities, due to continued growth and expansion of GTEM we have a great opportunity available and are looking for a press tooling engineer. You will be part of a team repairing, maintaining and improving the tooling performance.
Role Responsibilities
* Maintenance and repair of press tooling (transfer and progression).
* Identifying and carrying out modification to press tools where necessary.
* Assisting production teams to achieve production targets by supporting with tooling development.
* Carrying out preventative maintenance.
Skills & Abilities
* 3 years in a manufacturing setting preferably working with stamping or injection molding tooling.
* Excellent problem solver with the ability to meet production deadlines.
* Fully competent on conventional machines including Mills, Lathes and Grinders.
Person Profile
* The person should be able to work as a team and independently.
* Ability to work to deadlines and targets.
* Excellent communication at all levels.
* Driven to succeed in an expanding company.
Compensation & Benefits
* Salary – Negotiable depending on experience.
* Hours of work- 37.5 per week.
* Generous holiday allowance 25 days + bank holidays.
