Requirements
* You will manage a patch of properties, and you should have working knowledge of social housing, anti-social behaviour related legislation and best practice., Experience of housing management or allocations within a local authority or similar environment.
* Good understanding of housing and tenancy law
* Experience within a housing related or similar organisation
* Experience of planning and implementing change
* Experience of working with a range of partners, including communities, to develop new and different ways of working.
* GCSE English and Maths Grade C or above (Grades 4-9 or equivalent). Degrees are welcome.
* Housing Qualification from the Chartered Institute of Housing, Level 3 (Desirable)
* Excellent IT skills including word, outlook, excel, teams.
* Good negotiation skills
* The ability to build effective relationships and partnerships with stakeholders
* An ability to communicate effectively with residents, senior officers and external organisations
* Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to persuade and influence others
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage own workload.
* Ability to understand the needs and perceptions of customers and to handle situations sensitively

You will be expected to be part of a team providing and managing delivery of a comprehensive housing management service for Dover District Council tenants.
You will be expected to deliver a pro-active, customer-focused estate service that works alongside Housing colleagues and with external partners to ensure our estates are managed and maintained to a high standard, and excellent customer service is provided to tenants.
