The Governing Body are seeking to appoint an exceptional Examinations Officer to join our team and lead the smooth running of all internal and external examinations across the academic year. About the Role
As our Examinations Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all examinations are administered efficiently, accurately, and in full compliance with awarding body regulations. This is a key position that requires excellent communication skills, strong administrative capability, and the confidence to manage deadlines and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the full examinations cycle, including entries for external examinations, timetabling internal examinations, room scheduling, and invigilation staffing.
* Liaise with awarding organisations to ensure accurate submissions and compliance with all regulations.
* Liaise with Head of Departments to schedule internal examinations.
* Manage and train a team of invigilators.
* Maintain secure storage of confidential exam materials.
* Prepare examination rooms and ensure policies for accessibility and special arrangements are fully met.
* Coordinate the distribution of results and support the post-results services process.
* Provide clear communication to students, staff, and parents regarding exam procedures and expectations.
