We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Assistant to join our team. If you have a minimum of 2+ years of experience processing payroll and are proficient in Sage 50c Payroll software, with a solid understanding of auto-enrolment pensions, we would love to hear from you.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and processing payroll on a four weekly/monthly basis. You will play a crucial role in ensuring accuracy and timeliness in payroll operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Process payroll for employees, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
Use Sage 50c Payroll software to process and manage payroll data.
Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations and company policies.
Administer and manage auto-enrolment pensions for eligible employees.
Provide support for payroll-related inquiries and issues.
Maintain confidential payroll records.
Required Experience & Skills:
2+ years of experience in payroll processing.
Proficiency in Sage 50c Payroll software is essential.
Knowledge and experience with auto-enrolment pensions is essential.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Additional Information:
You must have used Sage 50 Payroll in the past two years, you won’t be accepted otherwise.
The role is office-based for the first couple of months, with the option of remote working thereafter.
