We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader / Road Based Supervisor to join our team and support our Secure Mental Health Contract in Gloucester.
EMED Safe care is the secure mental health division of EMED Group. Our Gloucester site provides complementary mental health services, including mental health transport.
The Team Leader role is a permanent full-time position working Monday - Friday (37.5 hours per week).

Main Duties:
1. Business Performance and Service Delivery: Ensure excellent customer service and quality care.
2. Compliance: Assist with Health and Safety base checks.
3. Fleet: Liaise with Fleet supervisor; ensure vehicle readiness.
4. Data Management: Keep employee data accurate for payroll and leave.
5. KPI’s: Support contract delivery and suggest improvements.
6. People Management: Conduct probation reviews.
7. Employee Relations: Handle investigations and disciplinary cases.
8. Sickness and Leave: Monitor and manage sickness absence.
9. Recruitment: Participate in hiring processes.
10. Training: Deliver skills development and driving assessments.
11. Ad-hoc: Conduct property risk assessments.
12. Health and Safety: Maintain a safe workplace.

Person Specification:
Essential:
* Experience in a regulated, complex environment
* Passion for patient care
* Excellent communication skills
* Commercial awareness and KPI achievement
* Strong problem-solving and coaching skills
* Organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to remain calm under pressure
* Full UK Manual Driving Licence with <6 points
Desirable:
* Experience in mental health or patient transport services
* Team leader/managerial experience in a regulated setting
