Role - Quality Inspector X2 As we continue to grow as a business and create more focus around quality control and meeting customer requirements on time, in full and to the right quality, we find ourselves looking to grow the Quality Team and implement a structure that includes 3 Quality Inspectors. Role Requirements Ensure finished products meet specifications through visual and dimensional inspection. Perform product functionality checks to ensure ironmongery, locks and safety critical door items are functioning. Using Jotform complete and maintain detailed records of inspections, noting any deviations or defects found to ensure traceability and quality control Using Jotform complete records of defects found and report out to TL, Operations Management, Dispatch and the Quality Teams Communicate identified defects promptly to teamleaders and collaborate on corrective actions for timely resolution to ensure delivery on time, in full and to the required quality Support quality-related customer concerns and collaborate on solutions to prevent recurrence. At times there may be requirements to inspect in-process components and assembly to ensure compliance prior to reaching the next stage. Ensure adherence to health and safety during inspections and production activities to promote a secure workplace for all personnel. Key skills Attention to Detail:Able to inspect/examine products and processes to identify any deviations from specification and ensure this is not sent to our customers. Analytical and Technical Skills:The ability to analyse data and interpret technical documents, such as quality specifications, drawings and product information is key for identifying issues and making informed decisions. Use of measuring equipment is essential in order to ensure product meets requirements. Problem-Solving Skills:Think critically and propose effective solutions when defects or quality issues are identified. This includes understanding what the root causes may be and suggesting corrective actions. Communication Skills:Clear and effective communication is essential for documenting findings and reporting issues to production teams, teamleaders. Inspectors should be able to articulate problems and suggest solutions Organizational Skills:Strong organisational abilities are required for managing multiple inspections and maintaining detailed records
