Social Media and Content Assistant

The role within Social Media & Content
* Assist the Marketing Manager with the creation of social media content
* Creating engaging content, scheduling posts, engaging with communities and monitoring social media activity
* Ensure that the organisation's brand and identity is displayed clearly and correctly in campaigns and across all communication channels
* Involve developing content including text and some video content (also includes graphics and artwork with support from the creative graphics team)
* Work in conjunction with other members of the marketing team to ensure the department achieves its required goals and objectives
* Assist with the collation of information for promotional literature
* Proofread marketing collateral and copy
* Upload marketing content to website, social media pages, and sales library
* Provide support and marketing materials for trade shows and exhibitions
* Support with administrative duties
Skills and Qualifications
* Strong understanding of social media platforms and their best practices
* Engaging content creation skills, including writing, image editing, and video editing
* Ability to create engaging and shareable content
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Basic analytical skills to monitor and evaluate social media performance
* A willingness to learn and grow within the field
* Working with a variety of job briefs, where excitement creates compelling posts
