About Our Service

We specialize in supporting individuals across London with mental health challenges, utilizing the internationally recognized Individual Placement and Support (IPS) approach. We are currently seeking passionate and self-motivated Employment Specialists to join our dynamic team in Redbridge. Your role will be pivotal in helping individuals with mental health conditions secure and maintain paid employment.

A Day in the Life of an Employment Specialist

As an Employment Specialist at Twining-Hestia, you will play a crucial role in our Employment Services team. Your contributions will directly impact the lives of our service users, guiding them towards empowerment and independence. Here’s what you can expect:

* Engage and support clients with mental health issues, building trusting relationships and creating tailored employment plans.
* Deliver practical services such as career guidance, CV preparation, job searching, interview skills, and work coaching.
* Develop and maintain relationships with employers and community partners to raise awareness of employment and mental health issues.
* Maintain accurate records of client activity and outcomes, contributing to the development of a responsive service for diverse communities.

What We’re Looking For

* Experience supporting individuals with mental health conditions in finding and retaining employment, with a commitment to the IPS model.
* Knowledge of health or social care settings, with excellent interpersonal skills to engage clients and stakeholders.
* Strong organizational and administrative skills, including effective diary management and accurate record-keeping.
* Proficiency in IT and communication, with excellent computer skills and the ability to think creatively.
