The Neonatal Unit is committed to providing evidence and researchedbased family integrated care for our 14 cots, that comprise of 2 Intensive, 3High Dependency and 9 Special Care
The Unit iscurrently looking for a Neonatal Sister/Charge Nurse to join their existingteam. In liaison with the Lead Nurse and other sisters, you will lead andco-ordinate a dedicated team of nursing and support staff in the delivery of ahigh standard of nursing and familyintegrated care.
It is essentialthat you are a RN or RSCN with the Qualification in Specialty in Intensive Careof the New-born course at diploma or postgraduate level and teaching andassessing certificate or equivalent adult teaching certificate. Up to date with newborn life support andwilling to undertake relevant training to support and enhance your role.
Main duties of the job
It is required that you have an approachable manner and positive attitude whilst being committed to providing high quality care to the infants and families accessing our services.
We are looking for someone who has a passion for neonatalcare. You must be able to work well as part of a multi-disciplinary team, andindividually, to implement care planning for your patients.

Qualifications
* 1st level registered nurse
* ENB 405 or equivalent Neonatal Intensive Care Course at Diploma or Degree level
* Previous experience working in NICU, post completion of 405 or equivalent.
* ENB 997/998 Teaching and Assessing in Nursing Practice or equivalent Adult Teaching Certificate
* Educated or working towards Degree Level
