Our client, a leading Civil Engineering and Infrastructure specialist, is seeking a MEICA Manager to join their team in Manchester.
The MEICA Manager is responsible for leading and delivering all MEICA activities across multiple projects from inception to completion. The role ensures safe, compliant, high-quality delivery in line with programme requirements, budgets, and schedules.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage MEICA design and delivery, ensuring buildability, compliance, and quality.

Provide technical leadership across mechanical, electrical, and control systems.

Provide technical leadership across mechanical, electrical, and control systems.

Manage and develop a small MEICA team, working closely with civil, design, and construction teams.

Drive value engineering and innovative solutions while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Oversee programme, cost, resource, and supply chain management, including procurement and contractor performance.

Ensure all MEICA health & safety requirements are met, including electrical safety, inspections, testing, and commissioning.
*
Manage stakeholders and maintain effective communication with senior management, designers, consultants, and delivery teams.
*
Coordinate interfaces and interdependencies across projects to ensure consistent delivery.
*
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
*
Build strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve value for money.
*
Contribute to tendering and future work-winning activities.
*
Promote a positive safety culture, teamwork, and continuous improvement across all MEICA operations.

A background working as a MEICA Project Manager, managing and delivering multiple projects of varying complexity & value.
Desirable
*
Degree or equivalent (foundation degree HND, HNC)
*
Member of the APM, APM certified or equivalent (or experience-based)
*
SMSTS/SSSTS qualification.
*
CSCS card qualification.
*
First Aid qualification (optional).
