To give prospective students an insight into life in Cardiff, were looking for a team of current students who will be able to film short videos throughout the year (typically under 2 minutes once edited), covering all sorts of topics, from Welcome Week to Varsity to your top 5 coffee shops.
You will not be required to edit the videos yourself, just to film them.
Pay and benefits:
* Flexible hours - film to fit your schedule.
* Hours worked can be counted as part of the Cardiff Award.
* Access to additional, optional work opportunities throughout the year.
* Either get paid per video submitted, or work on a series - a brief will be provided ahead of work
* Paid the rate of £13.45 per hour
Requirements:
* Able to communicate clearly on camera.
* Able to film good quality content; no editing skills are required for this role, but footage provided must be of a good enough quality to edit.
* Willing to discuss own experiences at university.
* Good time management – you will be working independently and while your hours are flexible, you will be asked to meet agreed deadlines.
* Creativity - you can submit your own topics to cover (these will be approved before you start filming to avoid duplication).
* Knowledgeable about university life.
* Involved in student life, for example clubs and societies (preferred but not essential).
Responsibilities
* Attend any compulsory training (you will be paid for any required training).

If you are on an hour s- limited visa, it is your responsibility to ensure you do not exceed the working- hour restriction Monday - Sunday, each week. This is a legal restriction that must be adhered to for work completed both within and outside of Jobshop.
