A leading US law firm is looking for a Conflicts Analyst to join their Team in their Manchester office.
The Conflicts Analyst role will involve identifying and analysing potential conflicts of interest related to new clients, matters, and you will have close interaction with attorneys, partners, and internal risk teams to ensure compliance with applicable rules of professional conduct.
Key Responsibilities for the Conflicts Analyst role:
* Conduct thorough conflicts checks for new clients, new matters, lateral hires, and other business development initiatives.
* Collaborate with team members to continuously improve conflicts analysis processes and technology tools.
* Analyse potential conflicts and escalate complex issues to senior members of the team.
* Research corporate affiliates, organisational structures, and relationships using commercial databases, online resources, and internal records.
* Assist in maintaining and updating client/matter data in the firm’s conflicts and intake systems.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree
* Prior experience in a legal environment.
* Familiarity with conflicts software such as Intapp Open is a plus.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
