Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Small tools Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical fitting and assembly, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings. As a Fitter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that components are assembled accurately and efficiently, contributing to the overall quality of our products.
Responsibilities
* Assemble and fit components according to technical specifications and engineering drawings.
* Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with standards.
* Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and effectively.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
* Report any issues or discrepancies in materials or processes to the supervisor promptly.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Fitter or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
* Strong understanding of mechanical systems and assembly techniques.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
* Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
