Human Resources Adviser
Full time (35 hours per week, Monday – Friday)
Starting salary £32, (FTE)

Are you a passionate and experienced HR professional looking for an opportunity to make a difference in an HR role in a values-led, people-focused organisation? Early Years Scotland is seeking a dedicated HR Adviser to lead and support the full employee lifecycle, blending operational excellence with the strategic insight to contribute meaningfully.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
· Develop and implement effective HR policies and procedures which reflect our culture while remaining legally compliant.
· Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary matters ensuring legal compliance.
· Lead and manage the recruitment and selection process. Coordinate and deliver engaging induction and onboarding for new team members.
· Provide clear, supportive guidance on HR-related queries.
We are looking for an enthusiastic HR professional with proven track record in a similar role. You should also have:
· Good working knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Integrity, professionalism and evidence of the ability to work confidentially and maintain confidentiality at all times.
· Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office.
· A resourceful, proactive, adaptable, and solution-focused mindset.
· Eagerness to learn, grow, and continuously improve.
· Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
