We are looking for an experienced Barista to join our team. If you have a passion for customer service, a friendly demeanour and enjoy working in a dynamic environment then we would love to hear from you
Key Responsibilities
* Greet and welcome customers with a warm and friendly attitude.
* Take customer orders accurately and provide recommendations when needed.
* Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
* Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages according to recipes and quality standards.
* Operate espresso machines, grinders and other equipment properly.
* Customise drinks per customer preferences (e.g., milk alternatives, syrup shots).
* Handle customer enquiries, complaints and special requests with professionalism and courtesy.
* Ensure proper food handling, hygiene, and storage standards are followed.
* Operate the till and process payments efficiently.
* Collaborate with the kitchen and other staff to ensure smooth service flow.
* Maintain knowledge of menu items and daily specials.
Skills & Experience
* Hospitality experience: 1–2 years of experience working in a high-volume Café environment.
* Technical Skills: Espresso machine operation (manual), grinding and tamping coffee, milk steaming and texturing, Latte art (basic to advanced) and a knowledge of coffee beans & roasts.
* Strong communication skills.
* Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* A friendly and professional demeanour.
Essential Requirements
* Applicants must be 18 years+
