Lancashire County Council is pleased to announce an Apprenticeship opportunity for its Highways and Operations, based at Burnley Depot/Cuerden Depot. This apprenticeship offers a full 4 year opportunity commencing in September 2015.
Salary will start at £7.68 per hour and following a successful 6 month probation period, will increase to £9.22per hour.
As an Apprentice Electrician, you can expect to get involved in installing electrical wiring systems in a variety of areas but predominately in street lighting systems. You will also be working outside, at heights and in trenches as required.

Applicants should have a good school or college or work record in terms of time keeping, conduct and punctuality and a positive attitude towards training. Candidates should also have an interest in working in the electrical industry. Apprentices will work towards the Level 3 Installation Electrician apprenticeship standard with Burnley College.
