A leading, established and highly successful provider of mechanical and electrical installation services to commercial and industrial buildings seek the solid appointment of an experienced and commercially talented Electrical Project Manager from an M&E / Building Services electrical installation project management background.

Please note - Whilst this appointment is to be primarily based from Birmingham, for the first two months you will be required to assist with the final finishings of an exciting project in Chichester. All expenses, transport and accommodation is covered. Once finished, you will revert to a Birmingham base on more central UK based projects.
Responsibilities
* Manage electrical installation projects within commercial and industrial sectors, with typical scope including new build industrial sheds for warehousing & distribution, military buildings, hospitals, manufacturing buildings, office blocks and data centres.
* Lead and deliver schemes of up to £20M+ (consideration given to lower-value projects based on experience).
* Coordinate with on-site teams (Site Managers, Supervisors, electrical installation engineers) and work alongside a Senior Project Manager.
* Organise and work with other specialist electrical contractors to undertake additional electrical elements of installs.
* Lead client facing meetings with professionalism and integrity, maintaining clear communication and project governance.
* Engage with main contractors and ensure successful delivery of projects from planning through completion.
Qualifications / Experience
* From an M&E / Building Services background, with direct experience in project management and delivery of electrical installations and related services in commercial and industrial environments.
* Proven track record in managing and delivering schemes of this level.
* Experience dealing with main contractors is preferred.
* Organised, approachable leadership with regular liaison to site based teams.
* Commercially minded and electrically biased; willing to take on a new challenge with a stable and progressive business.
Location and Logistics
Two-month initial period based in Chichester for project finishings, with all expenses covered, then Birmingham-based on more central UK projects.
