Key Responsibilities Ensure full compliance with transport legislation through accurate record keeping and monitoring Schedule and manage vehicle inspections, MOTs, LOLERs, servicing, and repairs Monitor driver hours, working time, infringements, and associated reporting using online systems Check and maintain driver documentation regularly Support drivers with duties, paperwork, and compliance requirements Prepare for and support internal and external transport audits Maintain transport records using in-house systems Order fuel, PPE, and consumables as required Provide general office and administrative support to the site management team What We’re Looking For Previous experience in transport administration or supervision (essential) Strong knowledge of transport compliance and record keeping Excellent attention to detail Strong communication and organisational skills Self-motivated with a flexible approach to work CPC qualification preferred but not essential (full training provided) About Us Avara Foods is one of the UK’s largest food businesses, supplying chicken and turkey to leading supermarkets and restaurants.
