Are you a skilled Workshop Engineer with experience repairing Electrical Motors, Pumps and Gearboxes - if so, please read on. This role is ideal for someone with a strong engineering background who thrives in a hands-on, workshop-based environment.
The Role: Workshop Engineer
Repair and refurbish electric motors, pumps, gearboxes, and other rotating equipment.
Carry out fault diagnosis, testing, and servicing of mechanical and electrical components.
Strip down and reassemble equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Work to high safety and quality standards, maintaining accurate records.
Collaborate with the engineering team to meet deadlines and customer requirements.
Minimum Skills / Experience Required: Workshop Engineer
Experience in mechanical or electrical engineering, preferably within a workshop environment.
Knowledge of electric motors, pumps, or gearboxes is highly desirable.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
A team player with a proactive approach to work.
The Package: Workshop Engineer
Base Salary up to £18 per hour (depending on experience)
Overtime with additional on-call work opportunities
28 days holiday
