Procurement Manager (United Kingdom)
The European Procurement Manager contributes to Bechtle’s success by ensuring efficient and customer-focused sourcing processes. They continuously seek to optimise and automate the supply chain while enhancing customer satisfaction. They achieve margin improvements through targeted renegotiations, make decisions with consideration of total cost of ownership and customer satisfaction, and actively monitor the successful execution of the project. They negotiate framework agreements with distributors, defining the parameters of collaboration with—and securing profitability for—Bechtle’s sales units. They assess suppliers based on quality and performance metrics, initiating appropriate measures for continuous optimisation. They act as a key interface between L&S, suppliers and manufacturers, and serve as contact for Sales.
Job Role Responsibilities
1. You act as an interface between our sales units in the United Kingdom and Ireland and our IT manufacturers and suppliers.
2. Your responsibilities include obtaining and preparing quotations, including reviewing and renegotiating them.
