Job description Manage day to day operations of the DC; eg resource planning, holiday cover, compliance etc. Implement and maintain a robust End of Day and Shift Handover reporting structure. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as and when issues arise and aid a resolution. Develop and implement robust reporting structures to cover key performance indicators for the DC and monitor and improve performance. Review at every opportunity the training levels within the DC to enhance the skills and productivity of the workforce. Ensure PO and STO activity maintained within appropriate business guidelines. To be available to support the wider team- being able to take part in EMEA meetings and calls as and when required. Ensure compliance to all company policies and procedures. Support the team in development and implementation of Continuous Improvement methodology, including use of (but not limited to) Lean Six Sigma tools, 5S and Basic problem solving skills. Required profile Previous experience (preferable min. 5 years) in a DC or warehouse environment. Supervisory experience. Good understanding of inbound and outbound logistics including an understanding of post Brexit compliance. ERP system experience (SAP preferable). Excellent communication skills both verbal and written IT literate including Microsoft Word and Exel. Approachable and empathetic.
